Traffic alert: stal̕əw̓asəm Bridge closed this weekend

The stal̕əw̓asəm Bridge between Surrey and New Westminster is closed this weekend for paving work.

The bridge, also called Riverview in English, closed to traffic at 9 p.m. Friday and will reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, according to officials. DriveBC says the work is weather-dependent.

In the meantime, drivers can use the Alex Fraser or Port Mann bridges.
