Here are Saskatchewan’s top 10 worst roads, according to CAA’s 2026 campaign

As part of its annual campaign, CAA has revealed its list of the top 10 worst roads in Saskatchewan.

10. A tie between Saskatchewan 35, Weyburn and Warman Road in Saskatoon

9. A tie between 13th Avenue NW in Moose Jaw and Coteau Street W in Moose Jaw

8. Saskatchewan 123, Petaigan/Ravendale/Pemmican Portage

7. Saskatchewan 102, La Ronge

6. Saskatchewan 47, Springside

5. Saskatchewan 2, Cudworth

4. 5th Avenue NW in Moose Jaw

3. Saskatchewan 4, Dorintosh

2. Saskatchewan 339, Avonlea

1. Saskatchewan 5, Buchanan

For nine out of 10 of the top worst roads, potholes were the major problem, with only the top spot due to poor road maintenance.

Because of that, and to help navigate pothole season, CAA provided a list of driver safety tips to go along with this year’s campaign.

CAA said it was shifting the focus of its campaign to emphasize

“The most common comments we heard during our campaign were, ‘How do we stay safe on roads with potholes? What can I do to prepare for the spring melt and unstable road conditions? And is there anything we can do to save money and not have repairs cost so much?” explained Angel Blair, communications manager in a release from CAA.

• Check tire pressure regularly

• Ensure proper wheel alignment

• Plan routes in advance

• Slow down near potholes and construction areas

• Pull over safely to assess damage if you hit a pothole

• Call for help if your vehicle is unsafe to drive

• Consider additional insurance coverage for tire damage

• Check the Highway Hotline for construction updates.

• Know alternate routes

CAA advises drivers to report potholes wherever they are by emailing [e-mail].
