Patient airlifted after vehicle collision at Highway 8 and 67

A person was airlifted after a vehicle collision Sunday morning.

At 10:20 a.m., Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure (MTI) posted an update, notifying that Highway 8 at the intersection of Highway 67 is closed due to a motor vehicle collision.

At 2:24 p.m., the MTI said the highway has reopened.

In an email, STARS confirmed that they transported one patient to Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg from the scene. The email said they do not have any details on patient’s condition.
