Section of Riverside Drive to be closed in May

City of Windsor officials are letting drivers know about an upcoming road closure on Riverside Drive East in May.

Riverside Drive will be closed from Greenpark Boulevard to Clover Street as part of the construction of the East Marsh Pumping Station Rehabilitation project.

It is expected to start at 7 a.m. on Monday, May 4, until 5 p.m. on Friday, May 8 (weather permitting).

The Ganatcho Trail will remain open with a minor detour around the construction.

Please be aware as you approach the area for altered trail conditions and restrictions.

Roadside message boards will have project updates.

Nevan Construction is doing the work.
