Homicide investigation underway after male found dead in Mississauga

A homicide investigation is underway after a male was found deceased with obvious signs of trauma in Mississauga on Monday morning.

Police say that they were called to the area of Kennedy Road and Matheson Boulevard at around 8:30 a.m. where they located the victim.

Footage from the scene shows a significant police presence outside a plaza. At this point it is not clear whether the homicide took place outside or inside of the building.

The authorities say that the incident appears to have been targeted.

No arrests have been made.
