Senior killed in crash with stopped semi in eastern Alberta

A senior from St. Paul is dead after a crash involving a semi in eastern Alberta on Friday.

The crash happened shortly before 6 a.m. near Highway 28 and Highway 36 in St. Paul County.

Mounties say an SUV hit a stopped semi, causing the death of the 72-year-old male driver of the SUV.

The crash is still under investigation.
