Here’s how to get from Barrie to the Bruno Mars concert

If you’re planning on taking GO Transit to see pop icon Bruno Mars in the big city, you’ll want to make alternate plans.

Construction happens to coincide with the days the concerts are happening: May 23, 24 and 30.

The planned construction will be on the Barrie Line, meaning no GO Transit service to Downsview Park, the closest GO stop to where the concerts are taking place at Rogers Stadium.

Instead, concert goers from Barrie can drive to the closest TTC station, which is Vaughan, park and take the Line 1 subway from there down to Downsview Park.

Metrolinx says weekend service disruptions are planned months in advance.
