Winnipeg police on scene following attack at Osborne lounge

There is a large police presence on Osborne Street on Thursday morning as police investigate an overnight assault at a lounge in the area.

According to the Winnipeg Police Service, officers are investigating an assault with a weapon at a business in the 100 block of Osborne Street. Police note the incident took place at some point in the early hours on Thursday.

Police are expected to remain on scene for much of the day.
