Man arrested for performing ‘indecent act’ on Winipeg bus: police

The Winnipeg Police Service has made an arrest after a man performed an indecent act on a transit bus in the city on Monday.

Police were called to the incident around 3 p.m. on Monday.

When officers got to the bus, which was at the corner of Osborne Street and Broadway, they took the suspect into custody. No one was physically injured in the incident.

Police investigated and determined a teenage girl, who was unknown to the suspect, noticed the man performing the indecent act. The teenager got off the bus and called police.

A 57-year-old Winnipeg man is facing a charge of indecent act. He was released on an undertaking.
