One man is dead and another is seriously injured following a single-car rollover on the Fishing Lake winter ice road on Friday.
According to RCMP, two men were in the vehicle at the time of the crash—neither of whom were wearing seatbelts. Both men were taken to the nursing station with life-threatening injuries.
The 43-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the nursing station, while the 41-year-old driver was airlifted to Winnipeg in critical condition. He has since been upgraded to stable condition.
RCMP continue to investigate the crash.
