The Town of LaSalle is starting its yard waste collection for the year this weekend.
On Friday night, you are asked to leave your yard waste in cardboard boxes, paper yard waste bags, or garbage cans at the curb. Plastic bags won’t be picked up.
Yard waste can include garden waste, such as flowers, vegetables, plants, and fruit, grass clippings, or tree and hedge trimmings.
You are asked to try grass cycling and leave clippings on the lawn. However, if you have to get rid of it, you are asked to put it in a garbage pail.
Tree and hedge trimmings should be tied in bundles with a maximum length of four feet and a maximum diameter of two feet.
Yard waste will be picked up moving forward every other Saturday until November. You can find the dates on your 2025 LaSalle Collection Calendar with a symbol of a paper yard waste bag.
