Two suspects sought in Kingsville robbery

Essex OPP is searching for two suspects, wanted in connection to a robbery in Kingsville.

On Saturday around 5:45 a.m., two suspects with a handgun and an edged weapon allegedly robbed a variety store on County Road 20 in the town, taking cash and various items, before leaving the scene.

Suspect one is described as a thin, Black male with average height, wearing black clothing, pants, jacket, gloves, balaclava, black sunglasses, white running shoes and an orange safety vest. He was carrying a Food Basics bag.

The second suspect is described as a thin, Black male, also average height, wearing a black jacket with the hood up, black sunglasses, a white mask that was possibly a bandana, red gloves, grey pants, and dark coloured shoes with red laces. He was carrying what police said appeared to be a handgun.

There were no injuries in the incident. The investigation is ongoing; however this is believed to be an isolated incident. There is no threat to public safety.
