A Wheatley man is facing impaired driving charges after a traffic stop in Leamington.
On Saturday just before 1 a.m., Essex OPP conducted the stop on Talbot Street East.
Officers said the 27-year-old driver was arrested and charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
The driver’s licensee was suspended for 90 days, and their vehicle was impounded for one week.
In another incident, a 29-year-old Leamington man is also facing charges.
On Saturday around 3:15 a.m., police conducted the traffic stop on Erie Street North in Leamington.
The man has also been charged with operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration 80 plus.
The public is reminded to call 911 if you see a suspected impaired driver.
