A 38-year-old Tilbury man has been charged in connection to a child luring investigation.
Investigators with the Chatham-Kent Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) began the investigation into the man this month. The suspect was alleged to have lured a child under 16 years old for a sexual purpose via several social media pages.
On Friday, the man was found in Chatham and was arrested without incident. The victim was offered support.
Few details were provided on this matter. The suspect was held pending a bail hearing.
