25-year-old man wanted in connection to downtown stabbing

The Windsor Police Service is searching for a man following a downtown stabbing incident.

Just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to the 500 block of Ouellette Avenue for a report of a stabbing. When officers arrived on scene, a 22-year-old man was found with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.

According to the WPS, a verbal altercation took place between the suspect and the victim inside a nightclub. The argument turned physical, when police said the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife, then ran.

Austin Ryall, 25, is wanted on charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. He is described as a white man, around 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a large build. He has brown hair, blue eyes, and a light complexion.
