A three-vehicle crash in Surrey on Feb. 23, 2025 sent two people to hospital.

Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash in Surrey Sunday morning that sent two people to hospital.

First responders were called to the scene at the intersection of 96 Avenue and 140 Street around 10:40 a.m., according to the Surrey Police Service.

“Both the driver and passenger of one vehicle were taken to hospital after being removed from their vehicle by Surrey Fire Service,” a statement for the department said.

“Initially, police were advised that neither of their injuries were considered serious, but after further examination at hospital, the passenger appears to have suffered serious injuries.”

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Multiple road closures were in effect after the crash, with drivers being warned to avoid the area.
