Drivers are being warned to expect a lengthy closure at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Production Way Tuesday as police investigate a serious crash.
Officers were called to the scene around 12:20 p.m. for a collision that involved four vehicles and injured a pedestrian, according to Burnaby RCMP.
“Three vehicle occupants were transported to the hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries. The pedestrian has also been transported to the hospital in serious condition,” a statement from the detachment said.
The closure is expected to last through the afternoon commute and into the evening.
