B.C. police ‘have exhausted all leads’ in search for missing man

Police in Burnaby, B.C., are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who disappeared from the region more than a year ago.

The Burnaby RCMP says 33-year-old Tyler Bursey was last seen on July 22, 2024, and was reported missing to authorities exactly two months later.

Investigators say Bursey is known to frequent Burnaby, Surrey and Langley, collecting beverage containers and visiting bottle return depots.

“It has been over a year since Tyler was reported missing and we have exhausted all leads in our search for him,” Cpl. Mike Kalanj of the Burnaby RCMP said in a statement Monday.

Bursey is described as standing 5’8” tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has black hair and blue eyes, according to police.
