Just over a year after a fatal stabbing in Victoria, police have charged two men with murder.
On April 9, 2024, officers were called to the 2900 block of Douglas Street for reports of a stabbing, the Victoria Police Department said in a news release Tuesday.
“Officers and BC Emergency Health Services paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to the victim, but he succumbed to his injuries,” the statement said.
Tighson Laughren, 37, and Brody Laughren-Smith, 31, have each been charged with one count of second-degree murder. The pair remain in custody.
No further information was provided.
