Suspects in Oshawa home invasion held residents at gunpoint before fleeing scene: police

Police are searching for three suspects following an early morning home invasion in Oshawa earlier this week.

The incident occurred at around 4:20 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of Rosedrop and Glenstal paths.

Police said three male suspects, armed with a handgun, broke into a home with the occupants inside.

According to investigators, the suspects “prevented the occupants from leaving.”

The suspects fled before police arrived on scene, investigators noted.

No physical injuries were reported.

“This is believed to be an isolated incident,” investigators said in a news release.
