Male working on billboard dies after fall from ladder in Toronto’s west end: police

A man was working on a billboard near Bathurst and Dupont streets before he fell and died.

One male is dead after police say he fell from a ladder while working on a billboard in the city’s west end.

In a post on social media, police said the industrial accident occurred at around 8:42 a.m. near Bathurst and Dupont streets.

Toronto paramedics and firefighters responded to the scene after the worker fell from an unknown height.

He was subsequently pronounced dead, police said.

The Ministry of Labour has been notified.
