2 people injured, 1 critically, in multi-vehicle collision in Etobicoke

Two people have been rushed to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision in north Etobicoke on Thursday morning.

Toronto police said they were called to the Rexdale area, near Gihon Spring Drive and Steeles Avenue West, just west of Kipling Avenue, just before 9:45 a.m.

Police did not say how many vehicles were involved in the crash, but said a male driver in his 60s has been taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

They added that a woman in her 20s was also transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Roads in the area are closed at this time.
