Man seriously injured after stabbing in Saskatoon, police ask for tips

WATCH: Saskatoon police are releasing more information about a heavy police presence on Queen Street Thursday afternoon.

Saskatoon police are asking for tips as they work to locate a vehicle involved in a stabbing incident that left a man seriously injured.

Police were called to an apartment building on the 300 block of Queen Street around 1:20 p.m. Thursday.

Officers say the 52-year-old victim suffered a stab wound while inside a vehicle that was driving on Queen Street. The victim then exited the vehicle and sought help at a nearby apartment building, where police were called.

The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Police’s serious assault unit is investigating. Anyone with information, including potential surveillance images or video from the 300 block of Queen Street, is asked to contact police.
