WATCH: Two flavours of Nissin-brand instant ramen sold in western Canada were recalled last week for containing unlisted ingredients including shellfish and peanuts.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling two instant ramen cups sold in western Canada because of undeclared ingredients, including peanut and shellfish.

The recall, issued March 24, relates to two Nissin-brand cups sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

The Nissin brand Big Cup Noodle was recalled for containing undeclared shrimp. The company’s curry-flavoured Big Cup Noodle is being recalled for containing peanuts that aren’t declared on the label.

People with allergies to peanuts or shrimp are advised not to consume the products and return them to the store.
