A Saskatoon man was charged after allegedly hitting someone with a pry bar on 8th Street

Police say a Saskatoon man is facing charges after another man was hit with a pry bar early Wednesday morning.

Police say officers were called to a parking lot outside a bar in the 1300 block of 8th Street and found a 27-year-old man reportedly assaulted with injuries believed to be non-life threatening.

Officers tracked down the 41-year-old suspect and seized the weapon, along with fentanyl and methamphetamine.

He faces aggravated assault and drug-possession charges.
