A 35-year-old man was arrested and charged following an armed robbery early Sunday morning.
Around 2:45 a.m. officers were sent to a business on the 2100 block of Pasqua Street after two men entered the establishment.
One of the men began stealing merchandise and when confronted by staff, he revealed a knife, according to a Regina police news release.
The two men were located by the Regina Police Service Aerial Support Unit in the area of Victoria Avenue and King Street where officers on the ground arrested them.
The stolen merchandise and a knife were found on one of the suspects who was also found to be breaching conditions of a release order, Regina police said.
A 35-year-old man was charged with robbery, carrying a concealed weapon and failing to comply with a probation order.
Police did not say if the other suspect was charged or not.
The 35-year-old accused made his first court appearance Monday morning.
