Here is the full list of U.S. products coming under Canadian tariffs on Tuesday

The federal government has released the full list of U.S. products subject to 25 per cent import tariffs, effective Tuesday, in retaliation to U.S. President Donald Trump’s sweeping tariffs on Canadian imports.

The tariffs impact a variety of goods, including food and drink, automotive parts, clothing and footwear, cosmetics, luggage, home wares, furniture and appliances, motorcycles, drones, firearms, tobacco, lumber, paper and more.

Tuesday’s tariffs are the first of two phases announced by Trudeau Saturday, said to total $30 billion in U.S. goods. A further round of tariffs, valued at $125 billion, is expected to come into effect later this year, following a three-week public comment period on a yet-more expanded list that is soon to be released, the finance department said in a release Sunday morning.

Trump’s own orders announced Saturday include a 25 per cent tariff on Canadian imported goods, with the exception of energy, which will be subject to a 10 per cent tariff, all expected to come into effect on Tuesday.

“These U.S. tariffs are plainly unjustified,” wrote federal Finance Minister Dominic LeBlanc in a press release Sunday morning. “Our singular focus is to get them removed as quickly as possible. Until then, our response will be balanced and resolute.”
