The Ottawa Police Service is asking the public for help in identifying two men allegedly involved in a robbery and assault outside of a licensed establishment in the city’s west end last month.

On March 19 around 1 a.m., the suspects approached a man who was in his vehicle, pulled him out and assaulted him in the 400 block of Hazeldean Road, police say.

Officers add that the victim sustained serious injuries, noting that a weapon was used at one point during the incident.

While one person was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, robbery and forceable confinement, two suspects remain on the loose.

The first suspect is described as a white man, with short dark hair. He was wearing a black jacket with a white stripe and a white baseball cap at the time the alleged incident happened.

Suspect number two is described as a white man, with short light hair. At the time, he was wearing a black top.

Anyone with information about these two suspects is asked to call police at 613-236-1222, extension 2666, or Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 to remain anonymous.
