Pair allegedly seen lighting cars on fire in Carleton Place: OPP

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is asking the public for help in identifying two suspects in an alleged arson in Carleton Place in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police say shortly after 4 a.m., two men were seen lighting two cars on fire on Dowdall Circle in Carleton Place, before running away on foot.

The OPP says the two men were last seen walking on Griffith Way.

In an update on X, police shared photos of two persons of interest, noting that they want to speak with them.

Both suspects were seen wearing dark sweaters. One of them was wearing dark pants, while the other was wearing light-coloured pants at the time the incident happened.
