An Ottawa driver faces hundreds of dollars in fines after they were caught speeding way above the limit with tinted windows on Highway 417 on Monday.
Police say officers caught the driver speeding to 144 km/h. The speed limit on the Queensway is 100 km/h.
The car allegedly had a tinted plate cover and “heavily” tinted windows, including on the front windshield.
Police say the driver now faces nearly $600 in fines.
