Ontario Provincial Police have arrested a third person wanted in connection with a shooting in Parry Sound in June 2023.
The Provincial Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad arrested the 20-year-old suspect from Henvey Inlet First Nation who was wanted on an attempted murder warrant.
He was taken into custody April 1 and charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, weapons offences and wearing a disguise with intent.

The shooting took place June 5, 2023. Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of an individual in hospital with injuries sustained following an incident at a local hotel.
“Two people have previously been charged in relation to this investigation,” police said.
The suspect remains in custody ahead of a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on April 11.
