Sudbury police seek help locating hit-and-run driver

Sudbury police believe the driver of this dark-coloured Chrysler 200 sedan struck a pedestrian in front of the Walmart doors and then fled the scene.

Police in Greater Sudbury have released a photo of a vehicle believed to be involved in a hit-and-run Wednesday afternoon.

The incident took place around 3:45 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot on Lasalle Boulevard.

A pedestrian was hit in the collision and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

“Based on the investigation, it is believed that the driver of a dark-coloured Chrysler 200 sedan struck a pedestrian in front of the Walmart doors and then fled the scene in the vehicle prior to police being called,” police said in a news release Thursday.
