Greater Sudbury Police are investigating after receiving multiple reports of shots fired at an occupied residence on Catherine Drive in Garson on Wednesday evening.
Police received 911 calls around 10:40 p.m. from residents who said they heard the gunshots.
“Through the investigation, it is believed that a dark-coloured, four-door sedan attended the residence, an individual exited the backseat of the car and fired numerous shots at the house before getting back into the vehicle,” police said in a news release Thursday.
“The vehicle, with an undetermined number of occupants, then fled the area prior to police arrival.”
