Provincial police say they are investigating a Tuesday morning rollover involving a school bus with kids on board in northwestern Ontario.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. on Highway 611 in Alberton Township, more than 200 kilometres south of Kenora, the Fort Frances detachment said in a news release.

“There are no apparent injuries as a result of the collision,” OPP said.

“The cause of the collision has not yet been determined.”

An investigation is underway between the OPP traffic incident management enforcement and Treaty Three Police Service.

“Two technical collision investigators have been assigned to the case,” police said.

“Traffic on Hwy. 611 will be restricted to allow investigators to safely work the scene.”
