More snow on the way to Montreal this weekend

Temperatures are expected to drop, and snow is on the way to Montreal for the weekend.

Montrealers can expect to see fresh snow on the ground this weekend - beginning with up to 5 centimetres on Friday night.

An overnight low of -10 C will end the work week. However, wind chill values could be closer to -15 C.

Saturday is expected to kick off with more light snow. Roughly three centimetres are forecast for the early morning.

By Saturday afternoon, those in the area will want to prepare for cloudy skies and lowering temperatures, as the mercury moves down to -22 C.

A return to sun and clouds is expected on Sunday, with a high of -14 C. Though westerly winds could make it feel like -28 C.

A low of -21 C is expected on Sunday night. Wind chill values nearing -30 C are then expected to start next week.
