Mixed bag of wet, cold and sun this weekend in Montreal

Montrealers should prepare for a mixed bag of weather this weekend.

Showers are expected to fall until Friday night, when the Montreal area should see increasing clouds.

The mercury could move down to an overnight low of -1 °C, but could feel as cold as -6 °C with the wind chill.

Saturday morning is expected to bring a 40 per cent chance of a dusting of flurries.

By Saturday afternoon, precipitation and clouds are expected to clear, as the mercury moves up to a daytime high of 2 °C.

The temperature could drop again at night to a low of -3 °C, potentially feeling like -9 °C with the wind.

Roughly 1 centimetre of snow showers is expected for Sunday afternoon, as temperatures toe the line between 1 °C and -1 °C.
