Sarnia police arrest man after catching him smoking fentanyl behind a business

Sarnia police have laid drug trafficking charges against a 35-year-old man after spotting three men engaged in open-air drug use behind an Exmouth Street business.

Police say that on April 3, at approximately 3:30 p.m., police saw the three men smoking fentanyl. Investigation showed that the suspect had supplied the drug to the other two.

Police seized the drugs, a small quantity of fentanyl. The man was subject to a probation order at the time of his arrest.

He now faces charges of trafficking a schedule one substance, and breach of probation.
