Sarnia police are investigating after a transport truck and a freight train collided.
According to police it happened in the early morning hours on Tuesday — the transport truck was struck by the train while crossing the tracks.
Police said the truck was not carrying any cargo at the time.
No injuries were reported, however, due to the severity of the damage and the vehicles involved, LaSalle Line between Vidal Street South and Tashmoo Avenue will remain closed until the scene is cleared.
