Gibbons Park in downtown London is just one area along the Thames River that remains partially underwater.

This, after heavy rainfall Saturday added to the already high water levels the area has been experiencing.

The Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA) initially issued a flood watch on Thursday, and the flood watch is expected to last until at least this Wednesday.

UTRCA officials continue to monitor the situation and will report on changing conditions if necessary.

All residents should use extreme caution around watercourses and stay out of flooded areas.
