Federal election candidates for Huron-Bruce will have the chance to make their case to voters at an upcoming candidates forum hosted by United Way Perth-Huron (UWPH) and the Huron Chamber of Commerce.
On Wednesday, April 23 from 6:00 p.m – 8:30 p.m. at the Clinton Town Hall Auditorium, candidates will be able to offer voters their perspectives on key issues through small group discussions.
The more intimate format gives voters the change to get to know their potential representative, and make their voices heard.
“We’re inviting candidates to talk with voters side by side,” said UWPH Director of Community Impact and Research Kristin Crane. “We don’t often get to connect like that and it’s so important for building strong communities.”
Moderators will be present to help moderate the discussions.
“Connecting community leaders is a priority for the Huron Chamber of Commerce,” added Executive Director of the Chamber Colin Carmichael. “This unique event will let voters and candidates go beyond the talking points for a deeper conversation about how to drive growth and opportunity in Huron County.”
