A 22 year old from Maple, Ont. has been identified as the victim of a crash north of Woodstock.
Around 3 p.m. on Monday, police were called to the intersection of Oxford Road 8 and 16th Line north of Woodstock for a crash between a commercial vehicle and a sedan.
According to police, the driver of the sedan was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries where they were later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Oxford Road 8, between 15th Line and Oxford Road 5, was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
Police are also asking anyone who was travelling on Oxford Road 8 or 16th Line around the time of the collision and may have dash cam footage to contact Oxford County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
