The one truck ended up on its side with the cab of the truck pressed into the fence.

Fire crews had to extricate the driver of that truck and the individual was transported to hospital with what are believed to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Caution tape cordoned off part of the playground inside the fence of the school to ensure children avoided the area.

Parents and children arriving to school had to navigate the crash scene with the help of a crossing guard.

Parents told CTV News that speed and aggressive driving are a constant concern in the area.
