The Canada Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a recall on beef sold at a London grocer.

According to a release from the CFIA, ground beef from Aladdin’s Food, 611 Wonderland Road, London, with a best before date of February 28, 2025, packaged on February 24, 2025 may be contaminated with E. coli O103

The CFIA cautions that consumers should not eat, sell, serve or distribute the food.

If you have the recalled product, you should either throw it away, or return it to the location you purchased it from. If you think that recalled food has made you sick you should speak to your healthcare provider.

It is worth noting that food contaminated with E. coli O103 may not appear to be spoiled, but can still make you sick.

Symptoms include nausea, vomiting, mild to severe stomach cramps and watery or bloody diarrhea. Severe cases may lead to seizure or stroke, or permanent kidney disease.
