Assault with a weapon charge laid in overnight dispute: LPS

One assault with a weapon charge has been laid against a suspect following an overnight dispute.

On Thursday around 8:30 p.m., London police said two men who know each other got into an argument at a home near Sandringham Crescent and Wilkins Street. A suspect allegedly brandished a knife and stabbed the other man.

The London Police Service arrested the suspect at the home, but no weapon was recovered.

The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A 21-year-old London man has been charged with one count of assault with a weapon.
