Woman arrested for alleged involvement in theft ring targeting Guelph businesses

A woman is facing theft charges as police say they are investigating a reported theft ring targeting businesses in Guelph.

The Guelph Police Service launched an investigation in September after a series of thefts and robberies between May and August. Police believe eight people were working together.

On Tuesday, a 32-year-old Guelph woman was charged with two counts of theft under $5,000.

Police previously arrested a 28-year-old Guelph man as part of the investigation. Warrants have been issued for the remaining six suspects.
