Two brothers from Guelph have been charged as part of an ongoing child pornography investigation.
The U.S.-based National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children contacted Guelph Police last October and warned them about child pornography being uploaded to social media from a Guelph address.
Officers then searched a home in the city’s west-end in February and seized nine electronic devices. Officers combed through the data, leading to the arrest of two men on Friday.
A 21-year-old man and 20-year-old man have both been charged with possessing and accessing child pornography. The younger brother was also charged with making child pornography available.
