Suspected meth, cocaine, fentanyl and hydromorphone seized during Brantford traffic stop

Two Brantford men are facing multiple drug-related charges after police pulled over a driver near Icomm Drive.

The officer, with the Brantford Police Service, stopped the vehicle on Clarence Street South and arrested the driver for driving with a suspended licence. The driver also didn’t have proper documentation for the vehicle.

Police looked around the driver’s seat for the missing documents and instead found 41 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 35.1 grams of suspected cocaine, 2.5 grams of suspected fentanyl and 30 hydromorphone pills.

They said they also seized license plates that had been stolen from outside the city.

A 26-year-old Brantford man has been charged with driving while suspended, possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen goods under $5,000.

The other man, a 24-year-old from Brantford, has been charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorphone for the purpose of trafficking and possession of stolen goods under $5,000.
