One person was taken into police custody following an investigation in Haldimand County on Sunday.
Ontario Provincial Police said their West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response and canine teams, as well as crisis negotiators, responded to an incident in Fisherville around 3:30 p.m.
They did not share any other details about the incident, including who was involved or if anyone was hurt.
Concession 6 and Haldimand Road 12, as well as Concession 5 and Erie Avenue South, were closed during the investigation but have since reopened.
Police said their investigation is ongoing and that charges are pending.
