Kitchener crash sends two people to hospital

Two people were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a crash in Kitchener.

Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision in the Victoria Street North and Frederick Street area around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Both drivers from Kitchener, a 27-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, were taken to hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services.

The intersection was closed for approximately three hours for a Waterloo Regional Police Service investigation.

Charges are expected.
