CTV News Edmonton's Miriam Valdes-Carletti has details on how the spring snowstorm has led to poor conditions and crashes in the Edmonton area.
Whitemud Drive and 23 Avenue were reopened Friday morning after being closed Thursday due to multiple collisions during a spring snow storm.
Both roadways were closed overnight in both directions due to poor driving conditions.

A snowfall warning remains in effect for Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park, with up to 30 centimetres possible before snow is expected taper off Friday night.
A tow ban has been put into effect in the Leduc area.
RCMP have advised Albertans to only travel if necessary, with conditions poor throughout the province due to the heavy snowfall and icy conditions.
As of 8:30 a.m. Friday, Environment Canada had not yet posted snow totals for the capital region. However, parts of Edmonton had already received more than 20 centimetres of snow Thursday night, according to unofficial city reports.
Edmonton collision reporting centres said 36 vehicles were towed Thursday and a total of 184 people reported a crash, including 44 who reported a serious crash.
RCMP said officers in multiple regions responded to a total of 147 crashes.
